Michelle Obama Whines That Every Day She ‘ Wakes Up in a House That Was Built by Slaves…’

Michelle Obama is a real disgrace to this nation.  She delivered her final commencement speech as first lady on Friday and she gave graduates of City College in New York one doozy of a finale. It was a speech she said would be entirely based on diversity. In fact, she said that was the very reason she chose this location as her final speech.  She couldn’t resist the opportunity to shower those poor souls with some leftist race baiting garbage:

Just look around. Look at who you are… You represent more than 150 nationalities. You speak more than 150 languages…  Maybe your family has been in this city for generations, or maybe like my family, they came to this country centuries ago in chains.

This wasn’t the only reference to slavery in Obama’s speech, she ended on it, too. The bulk of her speech centered around condemning politics that she perceives as anti-diversity. The kind of politics that might “build up walls to keep people out” or “view our diversity as a threat to be contained rather than as a resource to be tapped.” She spoke to the graduates about how America was built on the backs of immigrants and that she has lived that story every day for the last eight years living at the White House:

“And graduates, it’s the story that I witness every single day when I wake up in a house that was built by slaves, and I watch my daughters, two beautiful black young women head off to school waving goodbye to their father, the president of the United States, the son of a man from Kenya who came here to America for the same reasons as many of you: to get an education and improve his prospects in life.”

Then the first lady reminded everyone just how racist the Founding Fathers were:

“So, graduates, while I think it’s fair to say that our Founding Fathers never could’ve imagined this day [laughs], all of you are very much the fruits of their vision. Their legacy is very much your legacy and your inheritance. And don’t let anybody tell you differently.”

The Obamas: keeping racism alive since 2009.
