Lesbians Burn Down Their House For Insurance, Accuse Neighbor of Homophobic Hate Crime

We have all had that kind of neighbor, the person that you try to avoid, not wanting to have to speak to them.  They are abrasive, or loud.  They always need to borrow something from you, and you know that if you do not ask for it back, they will never return it to you.  [1] Well, what if your neighbor burn down his house to the ground and try to frame you as a homophobic arsonist in order to touch a juicy insurance check?  Well, with all the law protecting the LGBT community today, you can bet some liberal idiots will eventually try their luck.  Believe it or not, that’s exactly what happen to this poor man in Tennessee. A lesbian couple scrawled homophobic abuse on their garage before burning down their own house then calling it a hate crime. Carol Ann and Laura Jean Stutte reduced their own house to a pile of charred rubble in September 2010 and branded their neighbor a homophobe in order to get the $276,000 insurance pay out. [3]  The couple were seen blamed neighbor Janice Millsaps in media interviews and a lawsuit filed against Millsaps in Monroe County Chancery Court. [6] The Washington Times reports:

The Stuttes blamed neighbor Janice Millsaps in a lawsuit, accusing her of repeated threats to burn their house down. The lawsuit said that a month prior to the fire, Ms. Millsaps said to them: “Do you know what is better than one dead queer? Two dead queers.” [7]

Now on the face of it, this accusation sounds like a horrid case of hate.  One person, deciding that their neighbor’s lifestyle was abhorrent to them.  And because of this, they decided that they hated this people.  It is believable to most because it fits the “Homophobia” media narrative.  Those who think that sodomy is a sin are haters, right?  [1] Well not in this case.  Unfortunately for them,  insurers American National Property and Casualty Company caught on to the ruse and accused the couple of faking the fire. [3] A federal jury ruled in favor of the insurance company and they will not have to pay out on the insurance claim on the house in Venore.

A jury in U.S. District Court on Monday ruled in favor of American National Property and Casualty Company (ANPAC), which provided evidence that Carol Ann Stutte and Laura Jean Stutte torched their home in 2010 in Vonore and covered it up by spray-painting the word “queers” on a detached garage, the Knoxville News Sentinel reported.  The ruling means that the couple was denied their insurance claim.  They were seeking $276,000 in insurance claims.  It also means that their civil suit against their neighbor was also thrown out. The insurance company in this case conducted their own probe into the matter — which included a polygraph test for the accused — and concluded the whole thing was baloney.

ANPAC concluded after its own probe — which included a polygraph examination that Ms. Millsaps passed — that the Stuttes were indeed the arsonists, the Sentinel reported.  The Stuttes have not been charged in the house arson. The status of their lawsuit against Ms. Millsaps was not immediately clear, the paper said.

Like the conservative blog American Thinker has noted, “the self-inflicted phony hate crime must be the defining crime of our era.  Just as bootlegging defined the 1920s, fake hate crimes seem to define the early years of the 21st century.” [4]  This couple went so far to pull off this hoax as to spray their own detached garage with the word “Queers.”  They were so greedy and so full of animosity for their neighbor that they were willing to risk Ms. Millsaps going to prison for arson and a “hate crime.”  [1] What drives people to fabricate hate crimes against themselves?  Absent deep research, we have to speculate that the enshrining of victimhood as the most honored and powerful role in society has a lot to do with it.  When society rewards the stance of being a victim so richly, some people will be driven to assume that posture even when it requires fraud. [4] Accumulating reward time after time, they end up identifying with fellow lawbreakers and take pride in their sinful actions.  We should not be surprised when they have little or no regard for their fellow man.  Falsely accusing others of being racist or homophobic is an incredibly low act that should have an appropriate punishment. It’s sickening and sad, but fortunately, all of this was discovered before the company was forced to pay out. [13] The women should not be let off the hook for what they did to their neighbor and insurance company. [12] As yet, no charges have been filed against the lesbians for arson or filing false charges. [8]
