A US primary school teacher was living a Breaking Bad-style double life by operating a methamphetamine lab at her home, police say. Lori Whitley, 38, and her 41-year-old husband, Gary, were arrested on Friday in Zebulon, North Carolina. Johnston County deputies said its officers found equipment to make the highly addictive drug at the property after serving a search warrant. The couple are facing a dozen charges, including manufacturing meth, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance and child abuse. The couple’s eight-year-old son was in the home, say deputies. Wake County education officials say Ms Whitley has been a third-grade teacher at Wendell Elementary School since 2002. Gary Whitley works at an automotive body shop, according to an arrest report cited by the Raleigh News & Observer. Bail for the couple was set at a total of $365,000 (£230,000). They are due in court on 28 May.
