Although he claims to be a Christian, many have argued for years that President Barack Obama is secretly a Muslim, despite the fact that his domestic policy agenda clearly indicates his secular humanist philosophy. However, that does not mean that the president cannot be an Islamist–one who supports fundamental Islam. In fact, it’s hard to look objectively at his foreign policy without reaching that conclusion. His support of Foreign Terrorist Organization Hamas in its barbaric attacks against Israel is one obvious example–but only one of many. Still, in this age of political correctness, many might hesitate to pin such a label on the president. Unless you’re Allen West. According to the Daily Caller, West recently said just that. [1] Former Florida Rep. Allen West declared President Obama an Islamist who is intentionally working against the security of the United States. “The only plausible explanation for many actions taken by President Obama and his administration is that they are working counter to the security of the United States of America,” the former Florida congressman and retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel wrote in the post published Wednesday August 13 2014. [2] Speaking to host and Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125, West said Obama refuses to acknowledge the “radical Islamist” threat, instead asserting that “ISIS is not Islamic” and insisting that “Islam teaches peace.” West said it was insidious that administration officials have met with radical Islamists, and he stated that “the enemy is here.” [3] “President Barack Obama is an Islamist sympathizer and enabler,” West said. “He will not recognize the ideology. … You will never be able to defeat Islamo-facism and jihadism if you don’t recognize the ideology.” [4]
Can anyone explain what the strategy and objective is here in lifting this ban with a nation that is or should be on the terrorist watch list? Sorry, but I can only explain this one way: Barack Hussein Obama is an Islamist in his foreign policy perspectives and supports their cause. I don’t think it is secretly happening, I think that you can look at his actions and he is enabling Islamist forces to be successful in the Middle East,” West replied. “He is aiding the rise of radical Islamism, not just in the Middle East but really across the world. [7]
West wasn’t done there:
We don’t really know who this President Obama is and I’m not talking about his birth certificate. We don’t know who he is, we don’t know about his college transcripts, we don’t know what he was doing in Pakistan when he was back in college and who funded him to go over to Pakistan. [8]
According to Allen West, the only plausible explanation for many actions taken by President Obama and his administration is that they are working counter to the security of the United States of America. How else can one rationalize the following:
- The unilateral release of five senior Taliban back to the enemy while the enemy is still fighting us.
- Providing weapons of support to the Muslim Brotherhood-led Egyptian government — F-16s and M1A1 Abrams tanks — but not to the Egyptian government after the Islamist group has been removed.
- Negotiations with Qatar and Turkey, two Islamist-supporting countries.
- Negotiations with Hamas, a terrorist group.
- Returning sanction money, to the tune of billions of dollars, back to the theocratic regime led by Iran’s ayatollahs and allowing them to march on towards nuclear capability.
- Obama’s evident support of Islamists in Libya.
On top of that, according to the Washington Free Beacon:
The Obama administration has lifted longtime restrictions on Libyans attending flight schools in the United States and training here in nuclear science, according to a final amendment of the ban recently approved by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). [9]
In June, the former congressman from Florida called for Obama’s impeachment, following Obama’s negotiation with terrorists, releasing military deserter Bowe Bergdahl in exchange for the U.S. release of five notorious Muslim terrorists from GITMO. Barack Obama’s longtime pastor for over two decades, Jeremiah Wright, told author Ed Klein two years ago that “Barack Obama was steeped in Islam” and that he “knew very little about Christianity.”
When I asked the Reverend Wright about this whole question of Islam and Christianity. He said, well, you know, Barack Obama was steeped in Islam. He knew a lot about Islam from his childhood. But he knew very little about Christianity. And I made it easy for him to feel not guilty about learning about Christianity without turning his back on his Islamic friends. [10
West also believes more conservative veterans and conservative minorities need to be elected because so many liberal politicians are clueless about national security issues and immigration, and he said his Guardian Fund is seeking to develop a strong farm system of leaders to combat the left. [11]
