The Canadian Arab Federation Try to Impose his “Inclusiveness” Lunacy on the Hockey Team
An image posted to the Prince Albert Raiders Facebook page on Nov. 14 2014 presents the team’s new mascot (right), which is sponsored by Boston Pizza and known as the “Boston Raider.” The character has come under fire for its cartoonish depiction of an Arab man. The acting president of the Canadian Arab Federation came out with some of the most ridiculous leftist politically correct crap saying that the Prince Albert Raiders’ new mascot is “propagating trends of racism in sport.” [1] Mohamed Boudjenane told Metro he was surprised to see the WHL team use an Arab character to promote the club, especially in light of controversies surrounding the NFL’s Washington Redskins. “It’s a little bit weird that this organization didn’t take into consideration those situations,” said Boudjenane. The man was probably not conscious of the fact that he was actually trying to justify a complete act of lunacy by citing another sact of sheer stupidity and lack of common sense. The Red Skin franchise name controversy is as lunatic a you can get… especially when you know that a Navajo football team in Arizona deliberately choose that name for the own tribal football club. [2] As usual the leftists hidjack the alledged sensitivity of a silent minority group and use it as a weapon to advance their own agenda and to force us to bow to their own vision of the world. While Boudjenane said he could accept the mascot with a grain of salt on its own, the racial symbol echoes larger tensions facing athletics and the world in general. In addition to the Redskins matter, Boudjenane pointed to comments hurled at black NHL star P.K. Subban or the statements of disgraced former L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling. “We cannot depict… any race in a way that’s critical, or in a way that’s amusing or in a way that’s demeaning – it’s not appropriate,” said Boudjenane. This argument is even more ludicrous since the man is now mixing “personal racial insults” in everyday life with abstract stuff compagny brand names, team sports logos and plush characters.
I am sure if I was an Arab-Canadian going to that game, I would be a little bit insulted. [3]
If you still have any doubts about the fact that this man is completely dillusional, well you need to hear what he said next. Boudjenane also said that with the attacks on Parliament Hill fresh in the minds of Canadians, people sometimes have a tendency to conflate Islam and Arabs with extremism. Well, I guess this man hasn’t watched the news lately. If Mr. Boudjenanehe classify the Sharia law as “moderate” and “inclusive” maybe we need to define our terms first before discussing with this guy. Furthermore, after having heard all leftist crap he said ealier it’s hard not to associate him with an “extreme” racial sensitivity that is totally alien to any canadian born citizen and to link him with an “extreme” leftist ideology that want to put “inclusiveness” before liberty and freedom. Of course the “inclusiveness” is just a one-way deal for people like this guy. We accomodate them, they don’t accomodate us and give nothing in return. No! They use our social mechanisms and our own institutions to change us! When they get away with stuff like that, the next thing you know they are lobbying to ban canadian bacon from the local school cantine. Talking maybe a little too much, this lunatic then manage to paint himself in the corner. He said: “You cannot create a situation where you can exacerbate those tensions or those divisions.” Ok… wait a minute! Who playing the “race card” here? Who is exacerbating the “race issue” here? Not the canadian people (who usually don’t care about race or anything else for that matter), not the hockey club and certainly not the mascot. He is the one that is “race baiting” here. After that he went on to bore us with more moralizing stuff that he probably should have kept for himself: “This type of message is not welcome at all.” He said community groups – including sports teams – must carefully consider messages they communicate to the public. “The hockey team should be also a school of tolerance, a school of understanding and a school of inclusiveness,” he said. The canadian people don’t give a flying fuck about “inclusiveness” if it mean that they must bow down to every strange principles, every weird ideologies, every “sensitivities” of every group of immigrants to come into our country. This moralist idiot is probably also unaware of the fact that, in Canada, the big oil moguls are called “blue eyed sheiks.” I guess that’s derogatory as well.
A Total Shame! The Raiders Bowed Down to the Political Correctness Bullshit and Dump the Mascot
Unfortunately, the Prince Albert Raiders have released a statement concerning the controversial mascot which received criticism for its depiction of a Middle Eastern man. In the statement, posted to the hockey team’s website on Nov. 21, the WHL club says home games will not feature any mascot for the time being. “The organization is taking into consideration all feedback received this week,” reads the post. It adds that the original goal of the character – dubbed the Boston Raider for a sponsorship with Boston Pizza – was to enrich “the game night experience for our loyal fans and was not intended to be offensive in nature. The organization apologizes if anyone was offended by the character.” [2] Bruce Vance, the team’s business manager, previously told Metro that the logo has appeared on various jerseys since 1982. The symbol was brought to life on Nov. 14 at a game against the Moose Jaw Warriors. [5] A Boston Pizza spokesperson told the Canadian Press that the company was not aware of the mascot prior to the unveiling. The political correctness crowd called the Arab-looking costume stereotypical and insensitive.
