Substitute Teacher Give Student Blowjob During Pep Rally

On her very first day teaching at the school, a substitute teacher allegedly performed oral sex on a student while most of the other kids at the high school were attending a pep rally. [1] The alleged incident happened on October 17 in a classroom at Options Public Charter School in Washington, DC, according to the warrant.  [2] Symone Greene, 22, was called to substitute teach at Options Public Charter School in Northeast Washington, D.C. on Friday, according to NBC Washington.  [3]  A 17-year-old student told police that he gave his number to Greene and they exchanged texts including one in which the student asked if she was “kinky.” She allegedly responded, “I don’t tell 😉 I show,” according to court documents obtained by the station. The Washington Post reports that Greene and the student exchanged more text messages and the pair allegedly met in her classroom during the pep rally. [4] The student reportedly secretly filmed the teacher performing oral sex on him without Greene’s knowledge, according to the warrant.  [5]  Police say they’ve seen the video.

Court documents said the student requested that she perform sex acts as many times as his football jersey number. [6] He later showed the video to some of his fellow football players, the documents said. After the alleged assault, Greene told the student to “chill” because she could get in trouble. The Post notes that it’s unclear how authorities became involved. MyFox DC reports that the police contacted Greene and told her they wanted to discuss an incident at the school. Greene then texted who she thought was the student, unaware that police had obtained his phone. “Please be real with me did u run ur mouth,” the teacher allegedly texted. “I’m so scared. I swear imma cry [sic].”  [7] Authorities reviewed the video and video taken from school surveillance cameras to identify the classroom where the alleged act happened, and the teen agreed to text message the suspect again at the request of authorities. The teen saved a clothed picture that Greene sent to him of herself and identified her as the teacher who performed oral sex on him to authorities. [8]

She is charged with first-degree sexual abuse of a minor. Symone Greene was hired through a stafffing agency, S.O.S. Personnel, New Castle, Delaware.  Ms. Greene will not have a job to come back to, the NBC affiliate reported. [9]

Options Public Charter School executive director Shannon Hodge released the following statement about the incident on Wednesday morning:

The female substitute teacher was at Options Public Charter School for one day to cover a planned staff teacher absence. The substitute teacher was not an employee of Options Public Charter School.

When school administrators learned of the incident Monday morning, we immediately contacted the Child and Family Services Agency, the Metropolitan Police Department, and the parent of the student. MPD responded immediately and began an investigation into the incident.

We are deeply concerned about what happened to one of our scholars. Our goal is to keep our scholars safe and secure. All staff will remain extremely vigilant in maintaining a safe school environment and will continue to implement procedures to ensure the safety and security of our scholars. [10]
