In June, the Huffington Post wrote: General Mills has come out in support of the gay community for Pride, and what better way to show their love than with the Lucky Charms marshmallow rainbow? The “magically delicious” cereal is serving as the face of the new #LuckyToBe campaign which encourages people with Pride to tweet and post online their reasons for why they’re prideful using the hashtag #LuckyToBe.
Remember the good old Days where you could walk into a grocery store and purchase a box of cheerios and enjoy it for what it was…a box of cereal….nothing more…nothing less….pretty simple. Now we have to associate sexuality, and a variety of other social topics with a box of cereal. Its ridiculous. Its a product. The horrible truth behind all these “touching” and “emotively charged” commercial is greed. They’re full of shit, couldn’t give a flying fuck about gay rights or interracial couples. They are just surfing the giant RAINBOW wave…
