Super star rapper Snoop Dogg said that he smoked a big joint in a White House bathroom during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel a little while ago. Snoop Dogg, who posted a video where we can see him fist-bumping Secretary of State John Kerry at a White House party in December, said on his “GGN” YouTube show that he smoked a blunt in a bathroom at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue — alone. The White House has not yet responded to the legendary rapper’s claims, but the story has been being passed around many news outlets. Until this day, Texas musician Willie Nelson, possibly the most famous pot smoker in the world, is the only known person to have smoked marijuana at the home of the president. Nelson has said multiple times, including in his biography, that he smoked a joint on the White House roof during the Jimmy Carter administration. President Barack Obama himself has written that he was a heavy pot smoker during high school and into college. According to the anecdote, Obama was a member of the “choom gang,” a weed-smoking crew during those days, but says he quit long before becoming a U.S. Senator. During a conversation with the late-night talk show host, Snoop Dogg confessed to getting lifted at the historical White House. The duo’s dialogue, which is a bit cloudy, is below (courtesy the Washington Post).
Kimmel: Have you ever smoked at the White House?
Dogg: [smoking what appears to be a marijuana blunt]: In the bathroom.
Kimmel: You did? In the White House.
Dogg: In the bathroom. Not in the White House — but in the bathroom. Because I said, “May I use the bathroom for a second?” And they said, “What are you going to do? No. 1 or No. 2?” I said, “No. 2.”
Kimmel: Who said this? The first lady?
Dogg: No. The CIA. Or the FBI. The alphabet boys. So I said, “Look, when I do the No. 2, I usually, you know, have a cigarette or I light something to get the aroma right.” They said, “You know what? You can light a piece of napkin.” I said, “I’ll do that.” And the napkin was this [indicates blunt].
Kimmel: This is some story.
